Anti-Hu CD45, HI30, PB, 100tests

This Pacific Blue™-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, Clone HI30, is directed against human and chimpanzee CD45 (also known as B220, LCA, and T200). It reacts with all isoforms of CD45, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of most hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes, platelets, and plasma cells. CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and functions in immunoregulatory processes including cell activation, growth, differentiation, and oncogenic transformation; its large cytoplasmic portion contains two tyrosine phosphatase domains, one of which is enzymatically active.

The antibody has been verified for flow cytometry and has been used for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Human T Cell Enrichment Kit and the EasySep™ Human CD45 Depletion Kit, with partial blocking potentially observed for the latter. It was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with Pacific Blue™ under optimal conditions, and the solution is free of unconjugated Pacific Blue™.

For flow cytometry, the suggested use is 5 μL per 1 × 10^6 cells in a 100 μL volume, though titration is recommended for optimal performance in each application. The product is formulated in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin. It is stable at 2 - 8°C when stored undiluted; the product should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
