Anti-Hu CD45, HI30, PB, 100µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers this Pacific Blue™-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody directed against human and chimpanzee CD45, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of most hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes, platelets, and plasma cells. The antibody was generated using full-length human CD45 protein as the immunogen.

CD45, also referred to as B220, LCA, and T200, is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and functions in cell activation, growth, differentiation, and oncogenic transformation. The HI30 clone reacts with the Leukocyte Common Antigen, an extracellular region common to all CD45 isoforms. Alternative splicing of three exons (4, 5, and 6) encoding the RA, RB, and RC extracellular sequences gives rise to isoforms with molecular masses in the range of 180 - 240 kDa.

The reagent was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with Pacific Blue™ under optimal conditions. It is supplied as a clear liquid in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, and has been verified for flow cytometry. The suggested use is 5 μL (test sizes) or ≤ 0.5 μg (μg sizes) per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume, and the clone has been used to assess the purity of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits.
