Anti-Hu CD45, HI30, AZ, 25tests

Provided by STEMCELL Technologies, this mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody (Clone HI30) is conjugated to APC and recognizes all isoforms of CD45, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of most hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes, platelets and plasma cells. The antibody reacts with human and chimpanzee CD45, binding the Leucocyte Common Antigen, an extracellular region common to all isoforms. CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family, and alternative splicing of exons 4, 5 and 6 gives rise to up to eight isoforms with molecular masses in the range of 180 - 240 kDa.

Clone HI30 has been verified for flow cytometry. The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with APC under optimal conditions, yielding a solution that is free of unconjugated APC and unconjugated antibody. The product is supplied as a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin.

For flow cytometry, the suggested use is 5 μL per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume or per 100 μL of whole blood, with titration recommended for optimal performance in each application. The product is stable when stored undiluted at 2 - 8°C; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. The preparation is not classified as hazardous according to the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) or the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
