Anti-Hu CD45, HI30, 100µg

This unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody, clone HI30 (IgG1, kappa), is provided by STEMCELL Technologies. It targets CD45 — also known as B220, LCA, or T200 (Gene ID 5788) — a type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of most hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes, platelets, and plasma cells. The reagent was raised against full-length human CD45 protein, purified by affinity chromatography, and supplied at 0.5 mg/mL in a phosphate-buffered solution (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide. Species reactivity includes human and chimpanzee.

CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and participates in immunoregulatory processes including cell activation, growth, differentiation, and oncogenic transformation. Its large cytoplasmic region contains two tyrosine phosphatase domains, and alternative splicing of three exons (4, 5, 6) generates up to 8 isoforms with molecular masses in the 180–240 kDa range. The HI30 clone recognises the leukocyte common antigen (LCA), an extracellular region proximal to the membrane and common to all isoforms.

Verified applications include cell separation (CellSep) and flow cytometry (FC); reported applications include CyTOF®, functional assay (FA), flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoprecipitation (IP), and Western blotting (WB). For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.5 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL, and titration is advised for each application. The clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits. The product is stable when stored undiluted at 2–8°C; do not freeze. For research use only.
