Anti-Hu CD38, AT-1, FI, 100tests

A mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, clone AT-1, conjugated to FITC and raised against human CD38, a 45 kDa type II integral membrane glycoprotein of the ADP-ribosyl cyclase family. The reagent recognizes CD38 on human, rhesus, cynomolgus, and pigtailed macaque cells and is verified for use in flow cytometry.

CD38 is expressed at variable levels on early B and T cell lineages, activated B and T cells, NK cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells, with strong expression on plasma cells; it also appears in brain, kidney, muscle, and pancreas. For staining, the manufacturer suggests 20 μL per 1 x 10^6 cells in a 100 μL volume, with titration recommended for each application. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and formulated in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin and less than 0.1% sodium azide.

The product is stable when stored undiluted at 2 - 8°C; do not freeze and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
