The STEMCELL Technologies Anti-Human CD326 monoclonal antibody (clone 5E11.3.1) is supplied as a 100 µg unconjugated reagent for research applications involving epithelial cell identification and isolation. CD326, also called EpCAM (epithelial cell adhesion molecule), is a ~40 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on epithelial lineages, circulating tumor cells, and cancer stem cell populations. As an unconjugated format, this antibody can be conjugated in-lab to fluorochromes, biotin, or enzymes depending on the experimental design, supporting multi-color flow cytometry panels, immunoprecipitation, western blot detection, and frozen section immunohistochemistry. The 5E11.3.1 clone has been used in published studies of intestinal organoid cultures, tumor-initiating cell enrichment, and primary epithelial cell sorting. Researchers in oncology, regenerative medicine, and stem cell biology rely on EpCAM as a canonical surface marker for isolating epithelial populations from dissociated tissue and cell line sources. Each vial is intended for research use only; aliquot upon first thaw and store refrigerated to preserve binding activity across multiple experiments.
