Description

Manufactured by STEMCELL Technologies, this mouse monoclonal IgG2b, kappa antibody is conjugated to PE (phycoerythrin) and targets human CD32 (FcγRII), an ~40 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates phagocytosis, cytotoxicity, immunomodulation, and platelet aggregation. The clone, designated FLI8.26, was raised against the human erythroleukemia cell line K562 in BALB/c mice and has been verified to bind to FcγRIIa and FcγRIIb, with reported binding to FcγRIIc. Clone FLI8.26 also inhibits binding of the FcγRIIa-specific clone IV.3 antibody in flow cytometry analyses.

The antibody cross-reacts with monocytes, granulocytes, and platelets, and its species reactivity includes human, rhesus, cynomolgus, baboon, and chimpanzee. CD32 is encoded by three genes (A, B, C) and generates at least six isoforms (IIa1, IIa2, IIb1, IIb2, IIb3, IIc); FLI8.26 may also be used as a blocking antibody to reduce non-specific binding in antibody-based detection and cell separation experiments.

Supplied as an aqueous buffered solution containing BSA and ≤ 0.09% sodium azide, the reagent has been purified by affinity chromatography and is free of unconjugated PE. It is verified and reported for flow cytometry (FC), with a suggested use of ≤ 1 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL. The product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
