Anti-Hu CD3, UCHT1, PS, 100tests

This PerCP-Cy5.5-conjugated antibody from STEMCELL Technologies is a mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa reagent (clone UCHT1) raised against human infant thymocytes followed by Sézary T cells. It targets the ~20 kDa CD3ε subunit of the human T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex and reacts with human and chimpanzee CD3. The target antigen is expressed on the surface of ~95% of mature T cells and NK-T cells, and variably on thymocytes, with a majority of T cell neoplasms also expressing CD3.

The CD3 complex is assembled from combinations of CD3γ, δ, ε, η and ζ subunits, associates non-covalently with the TCR, and is involved in transducing antigen recognition signals into the cytoplasm of T cells and in regulating cell surface expression of the TCR. Mutations in CD3 subunits have been associated with various immunodeficiency disorders including severe combined immunodeficiency disorder (SCID). The antibody is supplied as a clear liquid in a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin. It was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PerCP-Cy5.5 under optimal conditions; the solution is free of unconjugated PerCP-Cy5.5. It has been verified for flow cytometry (FC) and reported for FC, and verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits.

For flow cytometry the suggested use is ≤ 5 μL (0.5 μg) per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume, with titration recommended for optimal performance for each application. The product is stable at 2 - 8°C when stored undiluted; do not freeze, and protect from prolonged exposure to light. The mixture is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), and the product is for research use only and not intended for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses unless otherwise stated.
