Anti-Hu CD3, UCHT1, PE, 500tests

A PE-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, clone UCHT1, reacts with the ~20 kDa CD3ε subunit of the human T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex. The antibody is reactive with human and chimpanzee CD3 and was raised in BALB/c mice using human infant thymocytes followed by Sézary T cells as the immunogen. It recognizes CD3 expressed on the surface of ~95% of mature T cells and NKT cells, and variably on thymocytes.

The reagent has been verified for flow cytometry, with a suggested use of ≤ 0.06 µg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 µL, and titration is recommended for optimal performance. It has also been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Direct Human T Cell Isolation Kit, EasySep™ Human CD3 Positive Selection Kit II, EasySep™ HLA Whole Blood T Cell Enrichment Kit, and EasySep Human CD2 Positive Selection Kit II. The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions; the solution is free of unconjugated PE.

Provided in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide, 0.1% gelatin, and < 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin, the product is stable at 2 - 8°C when stored undiluted. Do not freeze and protect from prolonged exposure to light. The product remains stable until the expiry date (EXP) on the label.
