Anti-Hu CD3, UCHT1, AZ, 25tests

The UCHT1 monoclonal antibody targets the epsilon chain of the human CD3 complex and is provided by STEMCELL Technologies as a 25-test reagent intended for research use in flow cytometry. CD3 remains the defining surface marker for mature T lymphocytes, making this clone a workhorse for immune phenotyping panels in studies of HIV progression, CAR-T development, autoimmune disorders, and transplant tolerance. Each vial supports direct immunofluorescence staining of peripheral blood mononuclear cells, whole blood preparations, or isolated splenocytes, and pairs cleanly with lineage cocktails containing CD4, CD8, CD19, and CD56 markers. Researchers typically titrate UCHT1 between 1 and 5 µg per 100 µL staining volume depending on the density of antigen and the fluorophore brightness, with the reagent remaining stable when refrigerated and protected from light. The clone does not cross-react with mouse CD3 in standard benchmarks, supporting its use as a human-specific T-cell gate.
