Targeting the CD3 epsilon chain on human T lymphocytes, this mouse IgG1, kappa monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies (clone UCHT1) is supplied in an azide-free buffer for 100 flow cytometry tests. The azide-free format makes the reagent appropriate for live-cell protocols, including fluorescence-activated cell sorting and in vitro stimulation assays, where sodium azide would compromise downstream cell viability.

The antibody supports standard immunophenotyping workflows for CD3+ T cells in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, cord blood, and dissociated lymphoid tissues. Published characterization studies report cross-reactivity with non-human primate CD3 and no significant reactivity with rodent CD3, broadening its use in translational immunology research.
