A PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies targets human CD25 (also known as the IL-2 receptor α-chain or Tac antigen), which functions as the low-affinity receptor for Interleukin-2 (IL-2) and is expressed on antigen- or mitogen-activated T cells. The reagent, clone BC96, is intended for laboratory research use, including flow cytometry analysis of PHA-L-activated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and immunomagnetic positive selection or depletion of human CD25+ cells from fresh PBMCs or lysed leukapheresis samples.

According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, the product is supplied as a clear liquid and is chemically stable under normal conditions. It is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), and it is not regulated for transport by DOT, TDG, ICAO, IATA, IMDG, RID, ADR, or ADN. The same clone is also available conjugated to FITC, APC, and Alexa Fluor® 488 for related flow cytometry workflows.
