Anti-Hu CD25, BC96, PE, 100tests

This PE-conjugated antibody reagent from STEMCELL Technologies targets the human CD25 antigen (clone BC96) and is intended as a laboratory reagent for research use. CD25 (IL-2R-α-chain, Tac antigen) is the low-affinity receptor for Interleukin-2 (IL-2) and is expressed on antigen- or mitogen-activated T cells. The reagent has been characterized by flow cytometry on PHA-L-activated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), with a Mouse IgG1, kappa Isotype Control Antibody (clone MOPC-21) used as a negative control.

The manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet describes the product as a clear liquid. It is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), and contains no substances considered hazardous to health at the given concentration. The SDS recommends handling in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice, storing in accordance with the Product Information Sheet, and disposing of waste in accordance with local and environmental regulations. The product is not regulated for transport by DOT, TDG, MEX, ICAO, IATA, IMDG, RID, ADR, or ADN.

A documented application for clone BC96 is the immunomagnetic positive selection or depletion of human CD25+ cells from fresh PBMCs or from lysed leukapheresis samples.
