Anti-Hu CD25, BC96, AZ, 25tests

A laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, this anti-human CD25 antibody (clone BC96) is conjugated to APC and targets the CD25 antigen, also known as the IL-2 receptor alpha chain (IL-2R-α) or Tac antigen. CD25 serves as the low-affinity receptor for interleukin-2 (IL-2) and is expressed on antigen- or mitogen-activated T cells.

The antibody is intended for research applications, including flow cytometry analysis of PHA-L-activated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), where it has been evaluated alongside a Mouse IgG1, kappa Isotype Control Antibody, Clone MOPC-21. It also supports immunomagnetic positive selection or depletion of human CD25+ cells from fresh PBMCs or lysed leukapheresis samples. The product is supplied as a clear liquid. According to the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet, the mixture is not classified as hazardous under the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) or the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). It should be handled in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice, and stored in accordance with the Product Information Sheet.
