Anti-Hu CD25, 2A3, PE, 50tests

The 2A3 clone monoclonal antibody targets the human CD25 antigen, the 55 kDa alpha subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor (IL-2Rα) that is upregulated on activated T lymphocytes, stimulated B cells, and most prominently on CD4⁺CD25⁺ regulatory T cells (Tregs). Conjugated to R-Phycoerythrin (PE), the reagent delivers bright orange-red emission when excited by the 488 nm blue laser on standard flow cytometry platforms, fitting cleanly into multicolor panels that pair with FITC, PerCP, and APC conjugates without significant spectral overlap compensation issues.

Supplied by STEMCELL Technologies as a 50-test vial intended for research use only, this PE-labeled anti-human CD25 reagent supports immunophenotyping of Treg populations in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, investigation of IL-2 signaling pathways in autoimmune and transplant models, and characterization of activated effector lymphocytes in cancer immunotherapy studies. The 2A3 epitope recognizes an extracellular determinant on IL-2Rα, and the conjugate is validated for direct surface staining using standard lyse-wash or whole-blood protocols, with typical workflows run on 100 uL sample volumes per tube.
