Manufactured by STEMCELL Technologies, this mouse monoclonal IgG2b, kappa antibody (Clone 2H7) targets an approximately 35 kDa non-glycosylated type 1 transmembrane protein of the MS4A family known as CD20. The 2H7 clone recognizes the epitope YNCEPANPSEKNSPST, located within the large extracellular loop of CD20.

CD20 is expressed on pre-B cells, resting and activated B cells, some follicular dendritic cells, and a subset of T cells, with expression lost upon differentiation into plasma cells. It interacts with several proteins, including the B-cell receptor (CD79), MHC class I and II, CD53, CD81, and CD82, contributing to intracellular signaling pathways that modulate B-cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation.
