Anti-Hu CD20, 2H7, AZ, 25tests

A mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, conjugated to APC (Allophycocyanin), is directed against human, rhesus, and cynomolgus CD20. Clone 2H7 binds an epitope mapped to the amino acid sequence YNCEPANPSEKNSPST, located in the large extracellular loop of CD20, an approximately 35 kDa non-glycosylated type 1 transmembrane protein belonging to the MS4A family.

It is validated for flow cytometry (FC), with a suggested use of 5 μL per 1 × 10⁶ cells in 100 μL, or per 100 μL of whole blood; titration is recommended for optimal performance. The reagent has also been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the Human Whole Blood CD20 Positive Selection Kit, Human CD19 Positive Selection Kit II, and HLA Whole Blood Lymphoid Positive Selection Kit. CD20 is expressed on pre-B cells, resting and activated B cells, some follicular dendritic cells, and a subset of T cells, with expression lost upon differentiation into plasma cells.

The product is supplied as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin, purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with APC under optimal conditions, and is free of unconjugated APC and unconjugated antibody. It is stable at 2–8 °C when stored undiluted; do not freeze and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
