Anti-Hu CD20, 2H7, 100µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, the Anti-Human CD20 Antibody, Clone 2H7 is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b, kappa antibody generated against human tonsillar B cells. It recognizes CD20 (also known as B-lymphocyte antigen, B1, Bp35, Leu-16, and MS4A1), an ~35 kDa non-glycosylated type I transmembrane protein in the MS4A family, and the epitope recognized by clone 2H7 has been mapped to the amino acid sequence YNCEPANPSEKNSPST in the large extracellular loop of CD20.

The unconjugated antibody is formulated at 0.5 mg/mL in a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography. CD20 is expressed on pre-B cells, resting and activated B cells, some follicular dendritic cells, and a subset of T cells, and expression by B cells is lost upon differentiation into plasma cells. The antibody is reactive with human, rhesus, cynomolgus, baboon, chimpanzee, capuchin monkey, Nancy Ma's Night Monkey, pigtailed macaque, and squirrel monkey samples.

Flow cytometry and cell separation are verified applications, and the antibody has been reported for use in CyTOF, ELISA, IHC, and IP. Clone 2H7 has additionally been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep kits. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 2 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL, with titration recommended for optimal performance. The product is stable at 2 - 8°C when stored undiluted and should not be frozen.
