Anti-Hu CD19, HIB19, BT, 100µg

A biotin-conjugated monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, Clone HIB19, specifically targets human CD19—an approximately 95 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on B cells across all developmental stages, from early pre-B cells to plasma cells, as well as on follicular dendritic cells. CD19 functions as a co-receptor for the B cell receptor through association with CD21 and CD81, contributing to B cell activation, differentiation, and intracellular signaling cascades.

The antibody is a mouse IgG1, kappa isotype, generated against human CD19 purified from tonsil, and shows reactivity with human and chimpanzee samples. It has been verified for flow cytometry and is reported for the same application, with a suggested use of ≤ 0.5 µg per 1 x 10⁶ cells in 100 µL volume. The clone has been validated for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, though partial blocking may be observed.

The product is supplied in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide, purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions, and is free of unconjugated biotin. It should be stored at 2–8°C without freezing and is intended for research use only.
