Anti-Hu CD184 (CXCR4), 12G5, AZ, 100t

A Mouse monoclonal IgG2a, kappa antibody (clone 12G5) from STEMCELL Technologies targets CD184 (CXCR4 or fusin), an ~45 kDa seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor expressed across a broad range of cell types, including T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, platelets, endothelial and epithelial cells, astrocytes, and neurons. The antibody is APC-conjugated and shows reactivity with human, rhesus, cynomolgus, baboon, chimpanzee, African Green Monkey, and sooty mangabey samples.

Verified for flow cytometry, the antibody is suitable for purity assessments of cells cultured under definitive endoderm differentiation conditions, where CD184 is commonly used alongside markers such as CD117. Binding of clone 12G5 partially inhibits SDF-1-induced chemotaxis and calcium influx, and blocks CD184-mediated co-receptor activity for some T cell-tropic HIV-1 isolates as well as CD4-independent HIV-2 infection.

Supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered solution (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin, the product is purified by affinity chromatography and is free of unconjugated APC and unconjugated antibody. It should be stored undiluted at 2 - 8 °C; do not freeze, and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
