Anti-Hu CD123, HIR2, PS, 25tests

This is a monoclonal antibody reagent from STEMCELL Technologies. The mouse IgG1, kappa clone (6H6) is directed against human CD123 (IL-3Rα), an approximately 70 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein that constitutes the ligand-binding α chain of the heterodimeric IL-3 receptor. The reagent is conjugated to PerCP-Cy5.5 and also recognizes rhesus and sooty mangabey CD123.

CD123 is expressed on hematopoietic progenitor cells, endothelial cells, basophils, eosinophils, mast cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, megakaryocytes, a subset of B cells, and on neutrophils cultured with GM-CSF, and is highly expressed in malignancies such as acute leukemia. The 6H6 clone does not inhibit binding of IL-3 to CD123 or to the IL-3 receptor.

For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 5 μL (0.25 μg) per 1 × 10⁶ cells in 100 μL volume. The antibody has been verified for purity assessment of cells isolated with EasySep kits, including the Human Plasmacytoid DC Enrichment Kit and the Human Basophil Enrichment Kit. The product is supplied in an aqueous buffer containing 0.09% sodium azide (may contain carrier protein/stabilizer) and should be stored at 2–8 °C undiluted, protected from prolonged light exposure; do not freeze.
