Anti-Hu CD123, 6H6, PE, 25tests

This mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies reacts with human, rhesus, and sooty mangabey CD123 (IL-3 receptor subunit α), an approximately 70 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the type I cytokine receptor family (type 5 subfamily) and the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD123 forms the ligand-binding α chain of the heterodimeric IL-3 receptor; on its own it binds IL-3 with low affinity, but association with CD131 yields high-affinity binding. The antibody is conjugated to PE (phycoerythrin), was purified by affinity chromatography, and is supplied free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. It was raised in BALB/c mice against COS cells transfected with a cDNA encoding the human IL-3Rα chain.

CD123 is expressed by hematopoietic progenitor cells, endothelial cells, basophils, eosinophils, mast cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, megakaryocytes, a subset of B cells, and neutrophils cultured with GM-CSF, and is highly expressed in malignancies such as acute leukemia. The antibody has been verified for flow cytometry and for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Human Plasmacytoid DC Enrichment Kit and the EasySep™ Human Basophil Enrichment Kit. The product is formulated as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 5 μL per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 μL. Store undiluted at 2 - 8°C; do not freeze and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
