Anti-Hu CD123, 6H6, AZ, 25tests

This mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, clone 6H6, is conjugated to APC (Allophycocyanin) and reacts with human CD123 (IL-3 receptor subunit α). CD123 is an ~70 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the type I cytokine receptor family and the immunoglobulin superfamily, and constitutes the ligand-binding α chain of the heterodimeric IL-3 receptor. The antibody is verified for flow cytometry and has been used for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including enrichment of plasmacytoid dendritic cells and basophils.

Reactivity extends to rhesus and sooty mangabey samples. The antibody was generated in BALB/c mice using COS cells transfected with a cDNA encoding the human IL-3Rα chain as immunogen, and was purified by affinity chromatography before conjugation. It is supplied in a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 5 μL per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 μL, with titration recommended for optimal performance. The product is stable at 2 – 8 °C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and must be protected from prolonged exposure to light. The 6H6 antibody does not inhibit binding of IL-3 to either CD123 or the IL-3 receptor.
