Anti-Hu CD117 (c-Kit), 104D2, PE, 25t

STEMCELL Technologies manufactures this Anti-Human CD117 (c-Kit) Antibody, Clone 104D2, PE, a mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody conjugated with phycoerythrin. Clone 104D2 reacts with CD117 (c-Kit), an approximately 145 kDa type 1 transmembrane receptor for c-Kit ligand (stem cell factor/steel factor), and shows verified reactivity against human, cynomolgus, and cow samples.

The antibody has been verified for flow cytometry and is supplied as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin, purified by affinity chromatography prior to PE conjugation. The suggested use is 5 μL per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume, or per 100 μL of whole blood; titration is recommended for optimal performance. Clone 104D2 binding does not block binding of c-Kit ligand or antibody clone SR1. CD117 is broadly expressed on hematopoietic stem cells in bone marrow, including pluripotent and erythroid progenitor cells and B and T lymphocyte precursors, as well as on mast cells and melanocytes. According to the manufacturer, CD117 is expressed on approximately 1–4% of bone marrow cells, the majority of which (approximately 50–70%) co-express CD34. The antibody should be stored undiluted at 2–8°C, protected from prolonged light exposure; do not freeze.
