Anti-Hu CD117 (c-Kit), 104D2, PE, 100t

This PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody, clone 104D2 from STEMCELL Technologies, is raised in mouse as an IgG1, kappa isotype and targets CD117 (c-Kit), an approximately 145 kDa type 1 transmembrane receptor for c-Kit ligand (also known as stem cell factor or steel factor). The antibody was generated using the MOLM-1 megakaryocytic cell line as immunogen, purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions; the solution is reported to be free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody.

Clone 104D2 is verified for flow cytometry and has also been verified for purity assessments of cells cultured with the STEMdiff™ Definitive Endoderm Kit. It reacts with human, cynomolgus monkey, and cow samples. The reagent is formulated as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin.

According to the manufacturer, the product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
