Anti-Hu CD105, 43A3, AZ, 25tests

From STEMCELL Technologies, the 43A3 monoclonal antibody recognises human CD105 (endoglin), an approximately 180 kDa cell-surface glycoprotein that forms a disulfide-bonded homodimer of approximately 90 kDa type I transmembrane subunits. CD105 is a component of the TGF-β receptor complex, expressed by vascular endothelial smooth muscle cells, syncytiotrophoblasts of placenta, and activated macrophages, with relatively low levels by stromal fibroblasts. It is also observed on some tumour types and is up-regulated on the endothelium during angiogenesis.

This APC-conjugated Clone 43A3 antibody is verified for flow cytometry and has been used to label human peripheral blood mononuclear cells, including cells cultured for 24 hours with or without lipopolysaccharide (LPS). It has also been verified for labelling human mesenchymal cells grown with MesenCult™ Proliferation Kit (Human) and MesenCult™-XF Medium. Available conjugated formats for the same clone include Alexa Fluor® 488, APC, biotin, FITC, and PE, each with associated flow-cytometry validation data. With mouse as the host species and IgG1, kappa as the isotype, the antibody is listed for applications including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot, in research areas of endothelial cell biology and stem cell biology.
