Description

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative measurement of ZNF785 in cell lysates and culture supernatants using a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which ZNF785 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

The kit is intended for use with adherent cells and has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. It includes a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody for internal normalization and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method for determining cell density. The 96-well microplate format supports high-throughput screening of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators and their effects on ZNF785.

ZNF785 is a C2H2-type zinc finger transcription factor located at chromosomal region 16p11.2, with a molecular weight of 44,705 Da (UniProt A8K8V0, Gene ID 146540). It functions in the nucleus and may be involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA binding, metal ion binding, and protein binding, with two isoforms produced by alternative splicing. The kit is suitable for research in Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling and should be stored at 4°C for up to 6 months.
