Human EGF ELISA Kit

A high-quality Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, offering a sensitivity of 2.344 pg/mL and a working range of 3.906–250 pg/mL (1 ng = 1400 mIU).

The assay protocol involves equilibrating reagents and a TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate, incubating at 37 °C for antigen binding, sequential incubation with a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, adding TMB substrate for colour development, and reading absorbance at 450 nm. Validated linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported for serum (86–105%), EDTA plasma (82–101%) and heparin plasma (80–99%), with mean recovery between 94% and 97% across the same matrices. Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable for up to 12 months.
