Human Clusterin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit (Double Antibody) is designed for the quantitative measurement of clusterin in human samples. The kit detects clusterin (also known as apolipoprotein J, APO-J, APOJ, CLI, KUB1, NA1, NA2, SGP2, SP-40, and TRPM2; Uniprot P10909) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other biological fluids.

Using a pre-coated capture antibody and a biotin-conjugated detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, the assay delivers results readable at 450 nm. Sensitivity is 1.875 ng/mL with a working range of 3.125–200 ng/mL. Reported linearity falls between 81–104% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma dilutions (1:2 to 1:8), with recovery averages of 90% (serum), 94% (EDTA plasma) and 97% (heparin plasma).

Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with some components requiring protection from light. Recommended additional materials include a 37°C incubator, a plate reader with a 450 nm filter, precision pipettes, distilled water, and absorbent paper.
