Human CXCL1/GRO alpha ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection to quantify human CXCL1/GRO alpha. The assay is calibrated with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL (1 pg = 211 mIU), making it suitable for precise measurement in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for up to 12 months. Reported linearity falls between 82–105% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, while recovery averages 97% across the same matrices. The workflow follows a six-step procedure: equilibrate reagents and load standards, samples and blanks; incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotinylated detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes at 37°C; develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and stop the reaction before reading absorbance at 450 nm.

CXCL1/GRO alpha is a key chemokine involved in inflammatory responses and immune cell recruitment, with established roles in inflammation, cancer and autoimmune disease, making it a valuable biomarker for research into physiological and pathological processes and for exploring potential therapeutic interventions.
