Human Lipocalin-2/NGAL ELISA Kit

This sandwich (double antibody) ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Lipocalin-2 (NGAL) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay employs a capture antibody pre-coated onto a microplate, with a biotin-conjugated antibody used for detection. Bound analyte is revealed using HRP-Streptavidin and a TMB substrate, producing a coloured product that is read at 450 nm; target concentration is calculated from a standard curve and is positively correlated with the OD450 value.

Key specifications include a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. The kit is reactive with human samples and is suitable for serum, plasma, blood, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates, tissue homogenates and other related supernatants and tissues. Kits are shipped on ice packs and components should be stored according to the table of contents provided in the manual, with expiry indicated on the kit label.
