Human LOX-1/OLR1 ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich (double antibody) ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of LOX-1 (Lectin Like Oxidized Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor 1) in human samples. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with a 96-well microplate format and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay has a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/ml.

In the workflow, samples and standards are added to wells pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. After incubation and washing, a biotinylated detection antibody is introduced, followed by HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution and the optical density is read at 450 nm, with the OD450 value directly proportional to the analyte concentration. The kit also includes validated Bradford Reagent for total protein quantification to support accurate sample normalization. The product is intended for research use only.
