ZNF24 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit provides detection and quantification of ZNF24 protein levels in cell lysates and tissue homogenates. It is a lysate-free, high-throughput assay that uses an indirect ELISA format on a microplate, with reactivity established for human, mouse and rat samples. The method is designed primarily for use with adherent cell samples.

The assay uses ZNF24-specific primary antibodies to capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. The HRP enzyme then catalyses a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. The kit can be used to measure relative ZNF24 amounts in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors or activators on ZNF24 expression. An anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. Storage is at 4°C with 6 months stability.
