The DNA-binding ELISA from Assay Genie quantifies the DNA-binding activity of ZEB2 (Zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 2), also known as SIP1 or SMADIP1, in nuclear and cell lysates. The microplate is pre-coated with a double-stranded E-box consensus oligonucleotide that captures active ZEB2 from the sample, which is then detected with a target-specific primary antibody and an HRP-conjugated secondary reagent producing a colorimetric signal proportional to transcription factor activity. ZEB2 is a zinc-finger transcriptional repressor central to epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and the assay is commonly applied in cancer invasion, neural crest development, and fibrosis research. Reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, the kit supports cross-species comparison of EMT signalling. Each kit includes the pre-coated microplate, nuclear extraction controls, and all buffers required for the full run. For research use only; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the antibody reagents to preserve binding performance.
