WWOX (Phospho-Tyr33)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed to detect WWOX protein phosphorylated at Tyr33 using a colorimetric method with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with Human and Mouse samples and is suited to adherent cell preparations.

WWOX, also known as WW domain-containing oxidoreductase, is a tumor suppressor protein with roles in cell growth, apoptosis, and DNA repair, and phosphorylation at Tyr33 is of interest as a biomarker in cancer research. The kit provides a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow for measuring relative phosphorylated WWOX levels in cultured cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors, or activators on WWOX phosphorylation. Detection relies on an indirect ELISA format in which WWOX (Phospho-Tyr33)-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

For normalization, an anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be used to determine cell density. The dynamic range is > 5000 Cells.
