WASP (Phospho-Tyr290)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit enables detection of phosphorylated tyrosine 290 on the WASP protein via a colorimetric method read at 450 nm. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which WASP (Phospho-Tyr290)-specific primary antibodies are bound by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, allowing HRP to catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Designed for use with adherent cell samples, the kit has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and shows reactivity with human and mouse samples. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density for further normalization. The assay can be applied to measure relative levels of phosphorylated WASP in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors, or activators on WASP phosphorylation.
