VCP (Phospho-Ser352)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the detection of phosphorylated valosin-containing protein (VCP) at serine 352 in adherent cell cultures. The assay uses a lysate-free, indirect ELISA format in which a phospho-specific primary antibody captures VCP (Phospho-Ser352) and an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody generates a colorimetric signal at 450 nm. The kit is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and supports a dynamic range of > 5000 cells.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided to account for differences in cell density. The format uses 96-well clear-bottom microplates suitable for high-throughput screening of treatments, inhibitors, or activators that may affect VCP phosphorylation.
