Valine (VAL) ELISA Kit

This Competitive ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of valine (VAL) in biological samples. Valine is an amino acid that plays a role in protein synthesis and muscle metabolism, and monitoring its levels can support research into muscle function, metabolism, muscle wasting diseases, and nutritional deficiencies.

The assay uses a colorimetric competitive format with broad species reactivity and a detection range of 1.56-100 nmol/mL. Optical density is read at 450 nm with a microplate reader. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue culture supernatants, cell lysates, tissue homogenates, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and breast milk. Most reagents are stored at -20°C, while the wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop solution are stored at 4°C.
