Tubulin alpha Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a cell-based ELISA kit designed for sensitive detection of Tubulin alpha in cell lysates and tissue samples. The kit offers a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput workflow for measuring relative Tubulin alpha expression in cultured cells, supporting research in cell biology, cancer biology, cell cycle regulation, microtubule dynamics, and drug screening.

Detection is colorimetric, read at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of "> 5000 Cells" and reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. The kit is supplied in a microplate format for use with adherent cells, with a stated storage stability of 4°C for 6 months. An indirect ELISA format is used, in which target-specific primary antibodies capture Tubulin alpha and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse the colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values. In addition, Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalised to cell amounts and compensating for plating differences.
