This DNA-binding activity assay from Assay Genie quantifies functional TTF1 (also known as NKX2-1) binding to its consensus oligonucleotide sequence immobilized on the plate. Nuclear and cell lysates prepared from human, mouse, or rat tissues or cultured cell lines are incubated in the wells, where activated transcription factor is captured and detected using a TTF1-specific primary antibody and an HRP-conjugated secondary reagent. The optical readout reflects sequence-specific DNA-binding capacity rather than total protein abundance, supporting studies of thyroid and lung organogenesis, NKX2-1-driven tumor biology, and lung carcinoma differentiation research.

Each kit contains reagents sufficient for 96 Assays run on a microwell plate strip configuration. Reconstituted components should be stored at -20 degrees C and protected from light, with the working antibody dilution kept at 4 degrees C for short-term use only. For research use only; not intended for clinical or diagnostic procedures.
