TSN Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit provides a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput method for detecting TSN protein expression directly in cultured cells. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which TSN-specific primary antibodies capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm upon substrate addition, allowing qualitative determination of relative TSN levels. Reactivity has been demonstrated against human, mouse and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density so that absorbance readings can be adjusted for plating differences. The assay is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format suited to adherent cell samples and is intended for measuring the relative amounts of TSN in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on TSN expression. Storage is at 4°C for 6 Months.
