TRIM24 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This In-Cell ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed to detect TRIM24 protein expression in cultured cells and tissue samples, supporting research into gene regulation, cell differentiation, and apoptosis. TRIM24 is an atypical protein kinase that functions as a transcriptional coactivator, and aberrant expression of TRIM24 has been associated with cancer and other diseases, making it a valuable target for research and therapeutic development.

The kit uses a cell-based, indirect ELISA format in which TRIM24 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalysing a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm upon substrate addition. The procedure is lysate-free and high throughput, suitable for measuring relative TRIM24 levels in cultured cells and for screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators. Qualitative determination of TRIM24 is supported by two normalisation approaches: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be used to determine cell density. The assay is reactive with Human and Mouse samples and is intended for adherent cells.
