TRI18 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of TRI18 protein expression in cultured cells using an indirect ELISA format. The kit is intended for measuring relative TRI18 levels and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors, or activators on TRI18 expression. Sample type is adherent cells, and reactivity covers human, mouse, and rat.

Detection is colorimetric at 450 nm via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of TRI18-specific primary antibodies, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-human GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell stain is supplied for cell density normalisation after substrate development. Storage stability is given as 4°C for 6 months in a 96-well microplate format. The target corresponds to gene MID1 (UniProt O15344), a TRIM/RBCC family E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase (Midline-1).
