TP53I11 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for qualitative assessment of TP53I11 protein expression directly in cultured cells, without the need for lysate preparation. The indirect ELISA format uses TP53I11-specific primary antibodies paired with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, enabling a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance results to be normalized to cell amounts.

With a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and a 96-well microplate format, the kit supports high-throughput screening of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on TP53I11 expression in adherent cells. The target, TP53I11 (tumor protein p53-inducible protein 11, UniProt O14683, gene ID 9537), is a 21 kDa integral multi-pass membrane protein located at chromosomal region 11p11.2 and is involved in negative regulation of cell proliferation and the response to stress, with documented roles in cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and DNA damage response. Storage is at 4°C for 6 months, and reactivity is reported for human samples.
