Tocilizumab (Actemra®) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric ELISA kit for the quantitative determination of free tocilizumab (Actemra®) in serum and plasma. The solid-phase sandwich assay incubates standards and samples in microtiter plate wells coated with the reactant for tocilizumab, then uses an HRP-conjugated probe to detect captured tocilizumab. Bound enzyme activity is detected with TMB chromogen substrate, the reaction is terminated with acidic stop solution, and colour development is proportional to the amount of tocilizumab in the sample or standard. Results can be determined directly using the standard curve.

The listed detection limit is 10 ng/mL, spike recovery is between 85-115%, and total assay time is 70 min. The kit is for professional use only and is classified as a biosimilar ELISA with human reactivity.
