TNFSF9 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

A colorimetric ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the qualitative determination of TNFSF9 (tumor necrosis factor superfamily 9) protein expression in cultured human cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which TNFSF9-specific primary antibodies are detected by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. The kit has a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells and is supplied in a 96-well microplate format.

The workflow is lysate-free and high-throughput, making it suitable for measuring relative TNFSF9 levels in adherent cells as well as screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors, or activators on TNFSF9 expression. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density for further normalisation.

TNFSF9 is a cytokine of the tumour necrosis factor ligand family that acts as a ligand for TNFRSF9/4-1BB and plays a role in immune response and cell signalling, with relevance to cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions. The kit is for human reactivity and is stored at 4°C with a stated shelf life of 6 months.
