TNF Receptor II Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

A colorimetric, cell-based ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise detection of TNF Receptor II levels in cell lysates. The kit is intended for use with adherent cells and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples. It is supplied in a microplate format, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

The assay follows an indirect ELISA format, in which TNF Receptor II is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colour change upon substrate addition. Absorbance is read at 450 nm. For data normalisation, a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

By enabling relative quantification of TNF Receptor II (gene symbol TNFRSF1B, UniProt P20333) in cultured cells, the kit is suited to studies of inflammatory responses, immune regulation, and related disease mechanisms. The kit is recommended for storage at 4 °C, where it is reported to remain stable for 6 months.
