TMP (Trimethoprim) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie TMP (Trimethoprim) ELISA Kit enables quantitative residue analysis of trimethoprim, a synthetic dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor co-administered with sulfonamides in livestock veterinary medicine. The competitive immunoassay format is calibrated against trimethoprim standards, allowing detection of parent compound residues in extracted feed samples and urine matrices from treated animals.

The microplate-based kit includes 96 assays, with a detection range of 0.5 to 50 ng/mL and sensitivity 0.1 ng/mL. A 50 uL sample volume is loaded into pre-coated wells, and absorbance is recorded after enzymatic color development. Unopened kits should be refrigerated at 4°C and protected from light; reconstituted reagents are best handled by aliquoting to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
