TISD Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

The Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive assay designed to detect the TISD protein expression profile in cultured cells. It allows measurement of the relative amounts of TISD in cells and supports screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators.

Detection follows an indirect ELISA format: TISD-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalysing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, while the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is used to determine cell density for further normalization.

Reactivity is reported for Human and Mouse, and the kit employs a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The assay is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format for adherent cells and is stored at 4°C for 6 months. The TISD target corresponds to the gene symbol ZFP36L2 (Zinc finger protein 36, C3H1 type-like 2), with a molecular weight of 51,063 Da.
