TEBP Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based immunoassay from Assay Genie provides a sensitive, high-throughput method for measuring TEBP (Telomere End-Binding Protein) levels in adherent cell cultures. Using a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm, the kit employs an indirect ELISA format in which TEBP-specific primary antibodies are captured and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies.

The assay reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples and supports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells in a 96-well microplate format. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and Crystal Violet staining can be used to adjust for cell density differences. The kit is stable for 6 months when stored at 4°C.

TEBP is also known as prostaglandin E synthase 3, encoded by PTGES3, and is involved in telomere maintenance, DNA replication, and prostaglandin biosynthesis, making it a useful marker for studies of aging, cancer, and related genetic disorders.
